1. First get to Panajachel - 150 km northwest of Guatemala City

From Guatemala City, take either a shuttle service
or a regular bus -"chicken bus"- to Panajachel. 3 hrs.

Most major Guatemalan cities and towns
have regular buses to Panajachel via Sololá.

2. From Panajachel take a 'lancha' ferry boat from the public dock
to cross the lake to San Marcos La Laguna

The ferry leaves every half hour
until 6pm and takes about 45 minutes.

3. Walk up through the village of San Marcos
past Casa Azul

Once in San Marcos, walk to the center of town (3 min)
and ask your way to La Cambalacha - any child can point out the way,
as long as they're not too shy to talk to you.
